Jakarta Two days in Jakarta.
Yogyakarta Three days in Yogyakarta (Kraton, Paku Alaman) and around (Borobudur, Prambanan).
Bromo Two days in the Bromo region.
Berastagi One day in the Karo Highlands around Berastagi.
Bukit Lawang Two days in Bukit Lawang and two days in the Gunung Leuser National Park.
Medan One afternoon and one morning in Medan.

Vieng Phouka A 3-days/2-nights trek close to Vieng Phouka (Northern Laos) to visit (and overnight at) the local Lahu villages in the hills.
Mekong river journey A 2-day slow boat river journey down the Mekong river from Houayxay to Pakbeng (6h), an overnight stay in Pakbeng, and then from Pakbeng to Luang Prabang (8h).
Luang Prabang Three days in Luang Prabang: several temples (incl. Wat Xiang Thong), Phou Si hill, night market, National Museum, and the Kuang Si waterfalls outside of town.

Hoi An A couple of days in Hoi An, incl. an afternoon on a beach close to Hoi An, and an early morning at the Cham temples in My Son (55km from Hoi An).
Nha Trang An afternoon and an early morning in Nha Trang.
Dalat Two days in Dalat (1500m)
